Now optimised for iOS 7

Good news! Version 1.1 of MedEvac Log has been released on iTunes. This update brings the app in-line with the new iOS 7 design and feel, and removes some of the annoying format bugs that some users may have noticed. In addition, a powerful new search feature has been created, allowing users to search within the app for any particular case from the ‘Cases’ page. We look forward to hearing what you think of the updated app, as well as any problems spotted or improvements you feel we could make.

Passcode importance

We would like to remind users of the importance of not forgetting their 4-digit passcode. Correct entry of the passcode is the ONLY way of accessing and exporting past cases. There is no ‘master code’, as that would compromise data security for every user

iOS 7 update news

We have an update in the works that will take advantage of the new design features of iOS 7, and will be available soon. It is a busy time at Apple at the moment with the release of iOS 7, and app updates are taking a little longer to get through their QA process than normal. In the meantime, if you do choose to upgrade to iOS 7 before the MedEvac Log update is released, you may see a couple of minor glitches, but it will otherwise look and function the same as it does now. Before updating to iOS 7 please take a back up of your phone using iTunes or iCloud to ensure a smooth transition. We will post again when the update is released. Almost there!

MedEvac Log is just days away from being submitted for approval in the iTunes app store, and should be available for purchase shortly after. A near-complete beta version has been running for a while now on Stuart’s phone, and promises to deliver on the concept of rapid recording of mission details. Final tutorial screens and a bit of spit and polish are all that is required. Stay tuned!
