MedEvac Log update v1.3 – now with Touch ID

MedEvac Log v1.3 is now available in the App Store, and is enhanced for iOS 8 with Touch ID support so you can quickly and easily unlock your existing cases and reports (on supported devices). MedEvac Log update v1.1.1 now available

The latest version of MedEvac Log (v1.1.1) is now in live in the app store. Included in this update are: Fixed a bug in the Case Timing screen that caused a crash for a small number of users. Updated the way an age is calculated from a recorded date of birth, it is now relative to the Case activation date rather than the current date. Updated the units an age is displayed in for ages 24 months and under when setting a specific date of birth rather than a simple age. Added the ability to double tap a photo to quickly zoom in or out. Now optimised for iOS 7

Good news! Version 1.1 of MedEvac Log has been released on iTunes. This update brings the app in-line with the new iOS 7 design and feel, and removes some of the annoying format bugs that some users may have noticed. In addition, a powerful new search feature has been created, allowing users to search within the app for any particular case from the ‘Cases’ page. We look forward to hearing what you think of the updated app, as well as any problems spotted or improvements you feel we could make.

Passcode importance

We would like to remind users of the importance of not forgetting their 4-digit passcode. Correct entry of the passcode is the ONLY way of accessing and exporting past cases. There is no ‘master code’, as that would compromise data security for every user

iOS 7 update news

We have an update in the works that will take advantage of the new design features of iOS 7, and will be available soon. It is a busy time at Apple at the moment with the release of iOS 7, and app updates are taking a little longer to get through their QA process than normal. In the meantime, if you do choose to upgrade to iOS 7 before the MedEvac Log update is released, you may see a couple of minor glitches, but it will otherwise look and function the same as it does now. Before updating to iOS 7 please take a back up of your phone using iTunes or iCloud to ensure a smooth transition. We will post again when the update is released.
